Happy 9 Months, Teddy!

Where has this year gone? I feel like just yesterday we were bringing Teddy home from the hospital. He has now been with us in person just as long as he was growing inside! We head to the doctor next week for his official stats, but he is spending his days standing (without pulling up on his own), and trying every which way to crawl. Both activities are exercises in frustration, but he is trying so hard, and I'm sure he'll get both down soon! He is doing a bit of commando crawling to get places on the floor, but mostly spends his time on all fours reaching one arm out in front of him. :) It seems like he is getting a couple more teeth to add to the 4 he has (two top, two bottom), which means he sleeps well most nights, but there are some fits and stirrings here and there. Here's a video of him making his way through his crawling tunnel.
His appetite for everything is great, and he now prefers meals of finger foods. Veggie burgers, pancakes and waffles top his list, though cheese, carrots, pear and avocado and cream cheese on bread are in the running. It's fun to pack a lunch for him as he polishes off most everything in front of him. He needs lots of fuel for all of the moving he's doing!

Teddy's personality comes out a little more every day. Here is a video of him cracking up at a little rubber popper that Pierce got at the dentist. It was the funniest thing he's ever seen! He has just been the best addition to our family, and we are so grateful for his presence.
The official stats are in(it's been that long since I started this post)! Teddy grew 3 inches and added 3 pounds to his frame since his 6 month visit. He was 30 inches long (96%) and 21 lbs. 8 oz. (80%) at his visit. Dr. Joyce remained charmed by his social skills and giggles, and looks forward to seeing him at 1 year!

And in a final note (4/11/12) Teddy is now crawling on all fours, and pulls himself up to standing on anything he can grab!
